Share the link
Send roadbondapp.com/join or a QR code. Private RoadBonds collect join requests — you approve who gets in. Drive-bys and time trials can also be watched on the map without joining.

Stay on the map
Everyone sees the live map and the route. On a convoy the leader can call slow down, tighten up, or roll out — including short voice alerts. Other types keep the map and drop the pack noise.

Join requests
Private RoadBonds do not auto-add strangers. Riders request, the leader accepts or declines, and everyone gets the update.

On a convoy: hold up, slow down, tighten up, two-lane, roll out, plus a DJ and shared music. Funerals can carry ceremony audio instead of pack calls.

Scan a code at the meet point or tap a shared URL. If the app is installed, the join screen opens from this site.
Watch or run
Drive-bys and time trials let spectators follow the map without joining. Time trials post start-to-finish times on a live board. Road trips and sightseeing keep planned stops on the route.

Funerals stay quiet and private by default. Fundraisers stay ad-free and carry a donate link. Grand openings line specific cars up at one venue for a set window.

A convoy is the pack: live nav, leader alerts, shared music. A road trip is stops along a longer drive — share it so others can follow or run it later. Sightseeing is the scenic version: planned landmarks, same shareable route.
Events
Drive-by, time trial, fundraiser, grand opening
A drive-by is one location; cars pass while people watch on the map. A time trial is the same course, run when ready, with a live board. A fundraiser is a charity ride with a donate link, ad-free. A grand opening hires a lineup of cars at one venue for a window of time.
Procession
Funeral
A procession so family and friends can follow the route together. Private by default, ceremony-quiet, with space for readings or ceremony audio — not pack alerts and not ads.
