Terms of Service
These terms cover the RoadBond mobile app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy is part of the same deal.
What RoadBond is
RoadBond is a tool for organizing and navigating group drives: a shared map, shared route, join requests, and in-ride alerts. It is not a professional dispatch service, not insurance, and not a substitute for watching the road.
Drive like a driver
You must follow traffic laws and local rules for convoys, processions, and gatherings. Do not handle the phone in a way that takes your eyes or hands off driving. Leader alerts and navigation cues are aids only. You are responsible for your vehicle.
RoadBond is not liable for accidents, tickets, missed turns, late arrivals, or disputes between riders. Use it knowing the map can lag, GPS can drift, and other people can make poor decisions.
Accounts
You must be at least 13. Keep your login to yourself. We may suspend accounts that abuse join requests, harass others, impersonate, scrape the service, or try to break it.
Rides you create
If you create a RoadBond, you decide public vs private, who to accept, and how the ride is described. Do not use the app for illegal activity. Do not share someone else’s live location outside the ride without a lawful reason.
Funeral, fundraiser, and similar ceremony modes exist so those rides can stay quieter (including without the usual ads). Treat them with the respect the setting requires.
Your content
Profile photos, convoy images, names, and voice alerts stay yours. You give RoadBond a license to store and show that content to other members as needed to run the ride. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
The website and join links
https://roadbondapp.com/join?convoyId=… is a door into the app. The website does not process join requests.
If someone without the app opens the link, they see a download page.
Ads and paid listings
Ordinary rides may show third-party ads. Ceremony and fundraiser rides do not. Store listings and prices (if any) are set in Google Play or the App Store, not on this site.
Availability
Maps, push notifications, and live location need network access and third-party services (including Firebase and Mapbox). Those can fail. We may change or discontinue features.
